Choosing a content partner
Choosing who makes your content: the questions to ask, and our answers to every one
Freelancer, agency, or someone in-house: the same questions tell you what you are buying.
Our answers, in short
- Who writes it
- AI
- Who checks it
- Sources, an outside review, a person on our team, you
- Changes
- Two rounds on every article
- Who owns the content
- You do
- Not included
- Work on the site itself, links, ads, video
What actually decides it
The label tells you less than the answers do. What decides it is what each will tell you, in writing, before you sign: who writes it, who checks it, what happens when you do not like something, what gets measured, and what is not included.
The questions to ask anyone you are considering
Ask us the same. Ask each of them in writing, and keep the answers.
- Who actually writes it, and who checks it?
We use AI to write your articles. Sources are found and checked before anything is written, and the draft is checked against them. A review runs from outside the team that wrote it. Our operator, a person on our team, reads it, and nothing is published until you approve it. No step approves its own work.
- What happens between my brief and the article landing?
Six stages, each with one job: planning your topics, the research, the source check, the outside review, our operator's read, and your approval. Read our process, stage by stage.
- How many rounds of changes do I get, and is it written down?
Two rounds on every article, and the number is written on this page.
- What happens after the minimum term?
After the first six months the plan continues month to month, and you can cancel any month. The two-week start is part of the plan and follows your first payment.
- If the person who writes for us is away for two weeks, what happens?
An operator is attached to your account, and content can be prepared two to four weeks ahead.
- What is not included?
Technical SEO audits, meaning checks on how your website is built. Website development, managing comments and inboxes, ad campaigns and video. Running your social accounts. We also do not sell link building, which is getting other websites to link to yours.
- How will I know whether it worked?
Real positions and clicks from your own Search Console, Google's own report of how your site performs, and a monthly check of whether AI assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini name you. We do not guarantee rankings, traffic, or being cited by AI assistants. Nobody honestly can. When something is not working, the monthly report says so. Read our research and its limits.
- What do you need from me?
One person who approves, read access to your Google Search Console and your social page insights, and about an hour of guided questions at the start.
One question we cannot answer well: we have no client work in your sector to show. The closest is our parent company, iStart International, with 83 articles live on istartinternational.net/blog as of 21 September 2026. In the three months to 25 September 2026, Google showed iStart's articles 47,200 times, 31,700 of them in the last 28 days (Search Console impressions).
When we are the wrong answer
- You want one article, or a handful. This is a monthly plan with a minimum term, not a job you buy once.
- You want content nobody can tell was made with AI. We use AI, and we do not claim our articles are "undetectable" or "human-written".
How our plan is put together
One monthly plan: US$1,299 a month, plus VAT where it applies.
It is not priced per word, per article or per hour. There is a six-month minimum, because search results take time to move. We take on a few new clients each month, so every client gets real attention from a person on our team.
Questions about choosing a supplier
What does a content agency do?
We plan, research, write, illustrate, promote and track your content every week, and you approve every article. That means five articles a week, one for every weekday, the social posts that promote them, the images, and a monthly check on how they perform.
Who actually writes it?
We use AI to write your articles. Sources are found and checked first, and the article is written in your company's voice. A review runs from outside the team that wrote it, a person on our team reads it, and nothing is published until you approve it.
How many rounds of changes do I get?
Two on every article. Send back what you want changed, and you have a second round after that. Your feedback also updates how we write for you, so the same correction should not be needed twice. Ask anyone you are considering for their own number, in writing.
Do you do link building?
No, by choice. Two reasons: paid links are against Google's spam policies, and the links worth having are earned. The full position, with Google's own wording, is in the section above. We write articles that other sites choose to quote and link to; we do not buy, trade or place links anywhere.
What does it cost?
One monthly plan: US$1,299 a month, plus VAT where it applies. It is not priced per word, per article or per hour. There is a six-month minimum, because search results take time to move. After that it continues month to month, and you can cancel any month.
